Drivers accustomed to the brand name of Volkswagen and likely to be interested in knowing that the company has announced it is about boost the Passat and Passat Estate range with new cars of Highline Plus. This information is especially to the advantage of second hand bargain seekers as the introduction of new cars of the Highline Plus series shall make prices of used Passat’s go down. These new vehicles will basically contain most of the features present in the Passat Highline. Drivers will be able to choose between a whole variety of engines, one of them being the powerful 1.8 litre TSI160 PS petrol unit. The interior of new cars will show technological advancements and high comfort. Passengers can benefit from semi-automatic climate control, Bluetooth capabilities and a touch screen adapter, which displays the information stored on a mobile phone when connected to the device. Those Highline Plus new cars will also come with the Volkswagen RNS310 satellite navigation system and a MP-3 compatible CD player with integrated radio. Safety features will include six airbags, ABS and the Electronic Stability Program among others. The Highline Plus series will also receive a new trim level and a chrome grille surround and louvres.
