The month of December is usually the time of first reviews of the ending year. Every TV program and newspaper seems to be already trying to pick up the most important events. The Prius was recently named the City car of the Year by the Top Gear driving publication. Those used cars are seen as machines almost designed for city cruising. So far over four thousand customer orders have been placed. It is a significant number bearing in mind the fact that the Prius went on sale only in August this year. As the Toyota Company admits one of the reasons for such successful sales figures is the broadening appeal of the motor. The green credentials of the used cars of the Prius series have not been neglected either. Both the fuel economy and levels of carbon dioxide emission are worth mentioning here. The awesome numbers of 72.4 mpg for the fuel consumption and of 89 g/km for emissions put the used cars of Prius series into the category of economic, ecological and proper family hatchback, which is somehow pretty wanted these days.
